Ingredients:
Chicken, boneless, chopped 1/2 kg
Onions, coarsely ground and 3 medium fried golden
Tomatoes, pureed 6 medium
Green chillies, finely chopped 5
Coriander and mint leaves 2 tbsp
Ginger / garlic paste 2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
Chili powder 1/2 tsp / 1/2 tsp
Desi ghee or oil 6 tbsp
Salt to taste
Method:
* Heat ghee or oil in a saucepan and fry chicken until brown.Add salt,chili powder, green chillies and ginger 1 garlic paste.Keep stirring until golden brown and the chicken is cooked. Remove the chicken and keep it aside.
* In the same oil add tomato puree,chili powder, salt,turmeric and coriander powder and cook till the tomatoes are well cooked and the oil separates from the gravy. Now add onions and chicken. Add coriander and mint leaves. Stir well.
* Serve garnished with coriander and mint leaves with naan or parathas.
