Ingredients:
1 kg frozen short crust pastry
For the filling:
1 kg lean minced meat
200 gms chopped coriander
200 gms onions
200 gms breadcrumbs
50 gms tomato paste
Black pepper and salt to taste
1 Egg for brushing
Method:
Line a nine-inch, loose-bottomed pie dish with short crust pastry.
Mix all the ingredients for the filling and spoon them in the pie dish.
Cover the dish with remaining pastry sheets.
Brush with egg and bake in a pre-heated oven at 240° C for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
When done serve hot with salad.
